Mother and daughter relationships are complex because the daughter looks to her mother as a role model of what a woman is. As she grows up and sees other women who live their lives differently, she chooses between imitating her mother or other significant influences in her life. As an adolescent she may come to look down on her mother and think that other woman are much better. Of course she is not a fully grown woman so she does not understand the challenges and choices that her mother faces.
My Mom & All Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathalal - Poem Hunter
There is nothing as pure, pristine, and serene as the love shared between a mother and a son. She is selfless and does everything to keep her children happy. Read them and enjoy the beautiful feelings that the lines evoke. A Mother knows her son better than anyone ever could because I gave you life and help you shine your light. We go together like mother and son a match made in heaven. Those gray hairs along my hairline Are not highlights I got from my beautician. I chose to create this bond with you, And no one can tear it apart.
Next Poem. Long before the ink touched the pen Long before the first tear fell on the ground I have had you long before the beginning A love written in the stars The day I was led into the outerworld by the unconditional love that sustains and waters me You have shown me countless meanings of love in its truest, purest and most delicate form Your heart is my home and continues to be my fortress I see the beauty of the world in the most crystal view In my mother's life I see life for what it is. Good and bad, yet wholesome nevertheless In my mother's story I find inspiration In my mother's teachings I find humanity, respect and compassion for my fellow human beings But most of all, see myself in the most illuminating light when I look at myself through my mother's eyes..
Prev Poem. Next Poem. All through my life my Mother was there All sorts of burdens and worries she happily bared On my first step she was there to catch me Or when I fell and hurt my poor knee Then came school and all the fears that abound My mother was there she was always around So often I tried her patience to the end My Mother was always my very best friend No question too tough or price too high My mother was there when I had my first cry Then came that heartache tears how they flew My mother just told me you'll find someone knew I could be in sports or playing in band My Mother was always my biggest fan Mother what I'm saying is through all these years You've always been there through my happiness and tears From a small boy who has grown to a man My Mother is the reason I am who I am.
